Just two more days until the election!

America, are you ready to let your voice be heard? Finally, the end of the Bush era is drawing near and we have the chance to get things straightened out. But you must vote! Otherwise, get ready for four more years of The United States of Fear.

Early voting in Presidio did not mirror national trends. While most of America was turning out in droves to cast early ballots, supposedly only about 28% of Presidians did the same. If you haven't voted yet, then--for sure--do so on Tuesday. If you have voted, then talk to your friends and make sure they have done so. Ciro Rodriguez (D), our congressman, needs all the support we can give, with Pete Gallego (D), our state legislator, needing the same. Both men are great friends of Presidio, so let's send them back to be our advocates for another term.

If all goes well on Tuesday, the next step will be to communicate clearly to President Obama and other elected officials that we want fair government, and to take care of our nation's, state's, and local business in an honest and forthright manner. Nothing more, nothing less.
